We recently had a visit at Allentown’s Liberty Bell Museum. The museum is located in Pennsylvania USA. Yes, we are happy we did! You will understand more after reading this travel blog. Every year, millions of people flock to see the famous Liberty Bell in Pennsylvania.

Did you know these Liberty Bell facts? The Liberty Bell was once hidden and placed under the basement floorboards of a church in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Also, the Liberty Bell wasn’t the first name of this icon. This icon was first known as the State House Bell.

How about this interesting fact. Did you know? No one actually knows when the Liberty Bell was first cracked. Today, this crack is still debated amongst historians. One theory is the Liberty Bell got its first crack in 1752. The crack supposedly occurred after the bell was being tested upon its arrival in Philadelphia.

So where exactly is this museum? You will find the home of the Liberty Bell Museum in the basement of the Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ. The church is located in the center of downtown Allentown. The Liberty Bell Museum’s address is 622 West Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101. Here, you will easily find plenty of metered parking for your convenience.

This quaint, two-room museum is wonderfully located. These rooms are located where the bells were once hidden under the church’s floorboards. Here, you will not only see one of Pennsylvania’s two official Liberty Bell replicas. However, you will also learn more about the location of these cast bells. The bells are currently in every state and territory in the country.
