A Historic Queen Ann Victorian Mansion

Nancy and I just enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing stay at the Union Gable Bed & Breakfast. Union Gables is located in the popular New York City of Saratoga Springs, New York. Here, you will find this picturesque Queen Anne Victorian Mansion as a Saratoga Springs hotel.

In 1901, wealth merchant George Crippen built the Queen Ann Victorian Mansion to celebrate his success. The mansion was given the nickname ‘Sunnyside House’. The mansion earned this nickname due to the many features of the house. The sunshine could cascade through different areas of the house during the different parts of the year.

When arriving at the mansion, you will experience the old-world hospitality first hand. Here, You will love the courteous Concierge Service, complimentary breakfast and fresh homemade cookies. In addition, you will be impressed with the friendly owners. You will find the food good and the fresh homemade cookies were great!!

Lovely Spacious Mansion Comforts

Here, you will also find large rooms and suites that have private bathrooms. You will enjoy the king beds. The king beds are in most rooms and suites. Maybe you would enjoy a room with a private patio? Union Gables also has one and two bedroom suites with kitchens and living rooms. You will also love the romantic in-room fireplaces and a variety of period antiques.

In the rooms and suites, you will also find luxurious linens, comfortable robes and a 43 inch flat screen television with high definition cable. The rooms also have a dorm size refrigerator and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We certainly enjoyed a comfortable stay and you will as well!

The Union Gables Mansion Inn also has pet friendly rooms available. Some rooms have private patios as well. If you are looking for a getaway with your pet, Union Gables will be waiting for you. Union Gables is certainly pet friendly!

The Gorgeous Mansion Property

During our stay, Nancy and I were simply amazed with the 1 acre plus property. The Perennial gardens, fountains, beautiful sitting areas and classic wrap around porch were absolutely beautiful! Here, you will find your time on the wrap around porch not only to be fantastic but very relaxing as well! A great place to enjoy an afternoon snack, cocktail, and/or simply enjoying the city views. You’ll love spending time on the porch!!

Union Gables also offers complimentary bicycles to explore Saratoga Springs. If you are looking to just relax, you will enjoy the heated outdoor Romanesque style pool (open Mid-May through late September). The pool area offers plenty of seating, complimentary towels and sun free areas for your convenience. Nancy and I loved our pool time and you will too!!

Charming Union Gables | Close To Everything

The Union Gable Bed & Breakfast is also perfectly located in the in the heart of the historic district. You will be a block and a half away from the Saratoga Race Course and two blocks from Congress Park. While at Congress Park, you may want to enjoy a mineral tasting or an inexpensive ride on the carousel. You’ll also find plenty of shopping and museums.

You may want to explore the Saratoga Springs wonderful restaurants and festive nightlife. In just a five to 10 minute walk, you will be able to enjoy a selection of over 90 restaurants, music venues, bars, museums, galleries and shopping. Plan on a great night!
