Today, we had the opportunity to visit a family friendly farm in Fitchburg, MA, The amazing family friendly Hollis Hills Farm, which is owned by Jim and Allison Lattanzi.
The Hollis Hills Farm is located on 340 Marshall Road and they are a family owned farm and sugar house. The farm offers local meats, eggs, pick your own apples, pumpkins, and so much more!!
The farm is quickly becoming a weekend gathering place for both adults and children. The Hollis Hills Farm offers an outside and inside full bar, a casual atmosphere BBQ, an ice cream bar and live music from local entertainers. Different local music artists are featured every week.
The farm also offers a child friendly atmosphere both in the barn and outside. Enjoy some corn hole or unwind by the bonfire while your children enjoy visiting with the farm animals or simply running around the spacious farmland.
The farm’s bar and kitchen is open on Friday 5-10, Saturdays 11-6; Live Music 2-5 and on Sundays: 11-6; Live Music 12-3. For more information about the farm’s music schedule check out the Hollis Hills Farm Facebook page.
The Farm will also be having a Fall Festival on October 5, 2018 thru October 7, 2018. The Hollis Hills Farm will be providing live music, hay rides, a full bar, and barbecue. As always, the Fall Fest will again be family friendly with activities for the whole family.
Tonight, we did have an opportunity to return to the Hollis Hills Farm. We arrived at approximately 7:00pm. and observed approximately 200 people, both young and old. Some people were enjoying the outdoor barbecue and others were enjoying a cold drink from the bar.
We also observed other people enjoying their night by the fire and some families had simply set up blankets on the grass, while relaxing and enjoying the music on their Friday evening.
Some children and family members were simply running on the farm grounds, while others were feeding and enjoying the farm animals.
The Hollis Hills Farm is definitely a wonderful family friendly farm and offers plenty to families and the community. If you are looking for a fun-filled activity for the family, we would definitely recommend a visit to this farm!
