Recently, Nancy and I visited perfect Zephyr Park Florida. You will find this park at 38116 5th Avenue, Zephyrhills, Florida 33542. Here, you will find a great walking trail area with many wonderful features.
Zephyr Park Features
Zephyr Park is a 34 acre park that feature many great features, including: Barbecue Grill, Walking Trail, Tennis Court, Playground, Picnic Shelters, Horse Shoe Pits, Handball and Fishing. Nancy and I especially loved the 5/8th of a mile lakeside walking trail. You will too!
This park also features the following park amenities: Alice Hall Community Center and 5 lighted tennis courts. You will also be able to view many Civil War Era large oak trees. Here, you will find a perfect place, with plenty of shade for rest and relaxation.
Great Picnic Shelters
At the park, you will also find great picnic shelters. All picnic shelters are first come first serve. Reservation are not required. These picnic pavilion offer a barbecue grill and picnic tables.
Here, you will love relaxing at your picnic pavilion, while preparing your own perfect picnic cuisine. A beautiful way to enjoy your holiday, weekend, or personal getaway. Zephyr Park is open Monday -Sunday 6AM-10PM.
Lakeside Walking Trail
The lakeside walking trail was what drew us to the park originally. We were looking to get some quick exercise in. As we began our walk we saw many families enjoying their day.
The children were strolling along feeding the ducks and ibis. Families were having evening cookouts and picnics. We stopped along the trail for some quick exercises on the outdoor exercise equipment. What a beautiful evening for a stroll.
Splash Pad
The splash pad was closed for the winter season, but it looks like a great place for the little ones to cool off. There are also bathrooms close by and more around the walking trail.
In closing, if you are ever in the Zephyrhills, FL area and want to stretch your legs, I would definitely stop by and take a stroll around the perfect Zephyr Park Florida.
