Beautiful Umpachene Falls Park

Charming Umpachene Falls Park

Here, you can view the Umpachene River flow into the Konkapot River in this Massachusetts town. However, there is a twist to this discovery so you may possibly need some town connections to visit this waterfall. The park is posted with a sign stating, “New Marlborough residents and their guests only”.

Certainly, one way to circumvent this is to politely request a visit to the park grounds-keeper. Here, you can simply promise the grounds-keeper you will respect the park and leave no trace of your visit. In short, you always get more with honey than vinegar.

Once you are granted permission into the park, we suggest you take advantage of the great swimming. You will quickly find out that swimming is popular and definitely encouraged here! Your children will enjoy their swimming in the beautiful Konkapot River, so you can enjoy relaxing and wading at the bottom of the Umpachene Falls
