Are you looking for a beautiful waterfall? Discover Campbell Falls! Campbell Falls State Park is located in both Massachusetts and Norfolk, Connecticut. However, you will find this gorgeous waterfall in New Marlborough, Massachusetts.
About Campbell Falls
The hiking distance around is approximately .4 miles with a suggested trip time of approximately 30 minutes. You will find the hike down to the waterfall has a gradual inclined trail.
During your approximately 10 minute hike to the falls, you will observe one concrete pylon, where “CONN” is was engraved on one side and “NM MASS” was engraved on the other side. The hiking trail is in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, however, once again Campbell Falls is located in Massachusetts.
Campbell Falls is a picturesque plunge and cascade waterfall so you want to make sure you bring your camera equipment. Here, you can find the Whiting River drops so this waterfall has an approximate 50ft height and a pair of drops. This New England waterfall is certainly unique with its zig zagging appearance due to the water running from left to right. In the early Spring, you will marvel over the waterfall’s thunderous and turbulent nature. A beautiful display of nature’s power within the gentle trail terrain and peaceful surrounding forest.
