Welcome to Life Of The Empty Nesters|World Travelers, in this blog we will share about our 2018 Career Change to Travel/Lifestyle Bloggers.
An Exciting Traveling Lifestyle and Career Change
Did you know? In 2015, 28.3 million internet users updated a blog at least once per month. The number of bloggers in the United States is set to reach 31.7 million users in 2020 (statista).
Why did Nancy and I decide to make a 2018 career change to Travel/Lifestyle Bloggers? Honestly, we were both simply ready for a career change.
Time For Life Of The Empty Nesters To Start An Amazing New Life Chapter
On 5/31/18, I retired from the Massachusetts Department of Corrections after almost 22 years of service. Nancy will be closing the family daycare, that she ran out of our home, at the end of June. She worked approximately 30 years in the Childcare Field.
We both have a love for travel, therefore, we decided we would concentrate working in the art of travel/lifestyle blogging.
Life Of The Empty Nesters – Internet Social Marketing
In November 2017, we began taking steps toward the travel/lifestyle blogging career. We both decided on the Life Of The Empty Nesters logo and then contacted an internet service. The service helped assist us with developing our current web page.
We then set up our websites on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook social networks. Since November 2017, we have seen our web pages grow to over 5,000 followers and we are continuing to grow.
Why is our blog called Life Of The Empty Nesters? Nancy and I have 3 children in our family (27, 19, and 17 years of age). The flock will be leaving the nest before long. Thus, we decided on the Life Of The Empty Nesters title.
How did we come up with the Life Of The Empty Nesters logo? Nancy and I decided on three of our most favorite hobbies. We enjoy travel, wine and photography.
We implemented these three things into our logo. These 3 hobbies are our main focus within our website pages. We also include lifestyle blogs, so you will also see other family friendly blogs as well.
