At the summit, you will enjoy some distant and picturesque views from an impressive observation tower. Here, you will enjoy a 360 degree view of other distant state mountain views. Nancy and I were thrilled and excited to get a great view of Massachusetts Wachusett Mountain!!
Looking for a less-strenuous way to view the beautiful Connecticut River Valley? You can drive up the 3.7 mile Mount Ascutney Parkway to a parking lot. For your safety, be sure to obey the speed limit signs up to the parking lot. Once at the parking lot, you will enjoy a 2,800 feet elevation view. A moderate level one mile hike will take you to the beautiful summit.
