Have you ever wondered why visit Cathedral Of The Pines?
During the Fall season, I decided to take a drive to Rindge, NH to see if I could capture the beauty of this New Hampshire region. While driving through Rindge, I came across the beautiful Cathedral of the Pines and I decided to check it out. I’m sure glad that I did!!
The Cathedral is located on a hilltop with the glorious Monadnock Mountain as its backdrop. Open free of charge to the public May through October. This beautiful destination was created to honor the life of World War II pilot, Sandy Sloane, who died during the war.
The outdoor chapel welcomes visitors of all faiths and beliefs. This has become a national memorial to all patriotic services and especially women for their wartime sacrifices.
The Cathedral is truly a beautiful place which offers much more for the eye to see. There are walking paths behind the altar which will take you to a couple local lakes and there are wartime dedications throughout the area.
The New Hampshire Cathedral of the Pines is truly the place to visit if you are looking for tranquility and reflection. I was also amazed by the natures beauty!! The Cathedral of the Pines is truly an amazing sight to see!!
