During a Western Massachusetts road trip, Nancy and I were lucky enough to come across this hidden gem and visit Silver Bell Farm. The wonderful Silver Bell Farm is located in Monson, MA. After reading this blog, you too will be planning a holiday visit to this farm!
Come Get Ready For Christmas
Upon arriving and parking our car, we could quickly see that this was a family run farm, which was providing the community the opportunity to enjoy the holiday spirit. You will find the farm offers a large parking area with plenty of room to park our car.
Upon checking out the area, we could see the smiles of the adults and children. Here, they enjoyed what was being offered at the Silver Bell Farm! There were several things to do at the farm. You and your family will have a marvelous experience once you discover this farm!
Purchase The Perfect Christmas Tree
Some people were enjoying the opportunity to purchase their Christmas trees. The tree area was no small production and the Christmas trees were going fast! You will have a great holiday season with your beloved Christmas Tree.
We observed workers cutting the bottoms of the Christmas trees and then wrapping them to go. Here, we observed that the trees were also given a personal touch by listing the lucky buyers last name on the tree. The Silver Bell Farm does a great job making sure you have a special Christmas Tree purchasing experience.
Wonderful Horse Wagon and Sleigh Rides
After checking out the Christmas tree area, we observed that the farm was providing horse wagon rides around the back of the farm. Call for availability. The prices were $5 per rider. The adults and children smiles were endless as they enjoyed their ride around the farm. You too will have a wonderful time experiencing the horse carriage ride!
The farm also provides a children only ride, which was not operating during our farm visit. We observed that the farm had an outside store area. Here, you could purchase finger foods (hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches) and cold/hot beverages (water and hot cocoa) at great family-friendly prices. We also enjoyed a short time at the outdoor fire pit which was burning so nicely. You will enjoy your time around the outdoor fire pit!
Warm Holiday Fun With Santa Claus
After we observed the outdoor activities by the fire, we decided to explore inside the store. The store had some homemade cookies, brownies, and pastries for sale. There was also a train table for the children’s enjoyment. You will also love the designated area for photos with Santa Claus. A memory keepsake!
The place was honestly buzzing with the holiday spirit!! During our time at the farm, we didn’t observe anyone who wasn’t enjoying their holiday farm experience. A great time by all!!
In closing, Nancy and I definitely recommend a trip to the wonderful Silver Bell Farm! We had an excellent time and we know you and your families would enjoy your visit!
