Bright Nights Forest Park

Bright Nights Forest Park

One past holiday season, Nancy and I had the opportunity to check out the Bright Nights Forest Park.  Upon entering the park, we were greeted by a female greeter who provided us with a Celebrate the Season with Bright Nights booklet, which provided some details about the beautiful light display.  She also handed us a $5 off coupon for a future visit.

Bright Nights Dates, Times and Rates

Bright Nights Forest Park is open November 27, 2019 thru January 5, 2020.  The park is closed December 2 – 3, 2019.  You can visit Sunday – Thursday from 5pm to 9pm.  All buses with Reservation Priority are allowed entrance at 5pm to 6pm.

The park entrance fees vary, with Monday – Thursday visits at $20 per car.  Friday through Sunday and  Holiday are $25 per car.  Limousine visits are $35.  All Mini Buses (capacity of 17-31) are $85 and Buses (seating capacity 31+) are $175.

On December 10, 2019, you can enjoy a discounted visit for $10.  No coupons will be accepted throughout the day.

A Spectacular Holiday Experience

As we started our viewing, we were able to drive at a slow comfortable pace.  We were also able to stop with traffic to take pictures along the route.  The employees have prepared for months to dazzle and delight all that take the three mile tour through the more than 650,000 lights.  The tour truly provides miles of smiles and lasting memories.

During our tour, we were amazed to see the number of light displays which brought memories and smiles to our face.  A pleasure for all to see.  Just past Seuss Land on the left, there was a parking lot to pull into to enjoy Santa’s Magical Forest.

Nancy and I did not stop but the Bright Nights booklet explained that many activities were taking place.  A great place for the children to ride the carousel, visit with Santa, grab a hot chocolate and a souvenir.  You may also purchase amusement ride tickets at a reasonable price.

Santa’s Magical Forest also offers children the opportunity to climb aboard the Santa Train and have your photo taken with Santa in his cozy cottage.  Santa welcomes visitors nightly through Christmas Eve.  He offers the children holiday wishes and he will also listen to every good little girl and boy’s holiday wish list.  Santa Photo packages are also available.

Bright Nights Season Pass

Bright Nights also offers a Season Pass for sale, however, the 2019 Season Passes are sold out for the season.  The Bright Nights Season Pass was just $65.  Purchasers received  a Bright Nights Guest Pass through the 2019 season, a coupon booklet full of discounts and savings including Bright Nights Amusement Ride Tickets (3) and a small hot chocolate at Bright Nights Concession Stand Monday or Tuesday Only.  The Season Pass is a great way to treat a carload, limousine or busload to the Bright Nights holiday lighting experience.

In closing, Nancy and I would recommend this wonderful lighting experience to all.  The amazing workmanship and beauty is second to none.  We were thankful that we took the time to enjoy this beautiful holiday display.  Well done Bright Nights Forest Park!!
