Three New Hampshire Wineries

Three New Hampshire Wineries

Are you looking for the best three New Hampshire Wineries to visit?  How about visiting the three wonderful New Hampshire wineries listed below? Trust us, you’ll be glad you did!

Nancy and I love visiting wineries.  The best part is taste testing at each winery! This past weekend, Nancy and I decided to check out three New Hampshire wineries.  We are glad we did!!!

Delicious Sweet Baby Vineyard

The first winery we visited was the Sweet Baby Vineyard.  The Sweet Baby Vineyard is owned by winemaker Lewis Eaton.  This winery is located at 260 Stage Road, Hampstead, NH 03841.  They offer award winning fruit and grape wines at both retail/wholesale prices.  For more information they can contacted at 603-347-1738 and/or @info@sweetbabyvineyard.com.

The Sweet Baby Vineyard is easily located with plenty of parking.  They currently have a building on their property. Here, you will find their tasting room.  Upon entering the tasting room, we were immediately greeted by two wine servers.  Our wine servers were Charlene and Stephanie.

The room was beautifully set up with several types of wines.  Each wine  displayed with award winning medals.  We noticed wooden tables and chairs were around the serving area.  A great place for you and customers to sit and relax.  A great place for all to enjoy their wine!

Time For A Great Sweet Baby Vineyard Wine Tasting

Nancy and I decided to purchase a wine tasting.  The servers also offered  cheese and cracker plate for around seven dollars.  We decided not to purchase the plate but we did other customers enjoying their cheese and cracker plates.

The plate consisted of several crackers and a very generous large block of cheese.  Nancy and I are sweet wine drinkers and we enjoyed six different tastings.  You will enjoy your wine, crackers and cheese!

After our second wine tasting, we were directed to another section of the building.  Here, we could enjoy our wine tasting in total comfort.  We walked down a short adjoining hallway and down a small set of stairs.  Now, we could enjoy a more cozy sitting area.

The room offered cushioned furniture, tables with chairs.  There was also a seventy inch large screen television for your enjoyment.  A great and comfortable space for everyone to enjoy.  We really enjoyed the comfort level of this sitting room and we are sure you will too!  While enjoying our wine tasting, we observed three other couples having a great time together.

After a short period of time, we decided to walk back to the serving area.  Here, we finished our tastings.  While finishing our tastings, we talked with the wine  servers about other local wineries in the area.

The Fun Barrel Event Weekend

The servers were excellent! They provided us with some good information about the winery and other local wineries in the area.  We were informed that Saturday, February 24th and 25th, there was a local event called the Barrel Event Weekend.  The weekend included tastings straight from the barrel and we know all of you wine lovers would enjoy it!

The event consisted of picking up your wine glass at any of the participating wineries for ten dollars.  You would then use the wine glass at all five wineries.  The following wineries participate: Sweet Baby Vineyard, Zorvino Vineyards (Sandown, NH), Flag Hill Distillery and Winery (Lee, NH), Appolo Vineyards (Derry, NH), and Moonlight Meadery (Londonderry, NH).  We and a group of friends will be attending this upcoming event!!

Meeting The Friendly Sweet Baby Vineyard Owners

Upon walking out of the tasting building, we were lucky enough to meet the wife of the owner, Stacey Eaton.  We politely asked if we could take some photographs of the grape vineyard.  She approved.

After taking a couple photographs, Stacie brought us for a tour through their future special event area.  We walked into a refurbished barn area.  Stacey explained they are currently petitioning with the town to get a business license to open the barn.

The barn’s interior was absolutely beautiful.  Here, we observed newly refurbished wooden floors.  Stacey then escorted us to the wine making area, which is currently in their three car garage.

Upon entering the garage, we were warmly met by the owner, Lewis Eaton.  Lewis was busy filtering his apple wine.  While we were engaged in conversation, Lewis generously gave us a tasting of his delicious filtered apple wine.

His business opened in 2008.  Lewis started out making wine as a hobby and then he quickly realized wine making was his passion! The Sweet Baby Vineyard wine is truly delicious!!!  Stacey was very forthcoming with some helpful tips on the wine making processes, which they used when they were first starting out.  You will love Sweet Baby Vineyard.

Since Nancy makes wine on a hobby scale, she found this very helpful!  We graciously thanked the owners for their time.  We were now off to our next winery.

Zorvino Vineyards

Our second winery was Zorvino Vineyards.  Zorvino Vineyards is located at 226 Main Street Sandown, NH and they can be contacted at 603-887-8463.  For more website information, visit their website at www.zorvino.com and events@zorvino.com.

Zorvino Vineyards is truly a picturesque winery.  This vineyard is located on eighty beautiful acres in the middle of a New England hardwood forest.  The owners are committed to producing quality wines.

They make their wines from local New England grapes.  The grapes are carefully tended on their own property.  They also use interesting varietals from grapes grown in premier wine-making regions of the world, including Tuscany, Chile and Northern California.  Zorvino Vineyard produces award winning fruit wines made with locally grown fruit.

The Zorvino Vineyards Tasting Room and Gift Shop is open for tastings every day from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except for some holidays.  Tastings are five dollars per person.  If you are interested in visiting them with a group of eight or more, reservations are requested.

All available wines are sold in their tasting room.  The gift shop offers a variety of locally made snacks, gifts, wine related items and clothing.  They also have a function room for weddings and other special functions.

Picturesque Zorvino Vineyards

Upon arriving at the Zorvino Vineyards, Nancy and I were immediately impressed by the road landscaping into the winery.  We observed some beautiful decorated grape vines along the road.

After driving a short distance, we also observed signage for the function room area and for the Wine Tasting room area.  We proceeded to park our vehicle in a spacious parking lot area.

After parking our car, we decided to to take a walk around the beautifully landscaped property.  Here, we observed sitting areas, two bocce courts and a small pond on the property.  We also took some photographs of a beautiful gazebo overlooking the picturesque vineyard and grounds.

Upon entering the winery, we were greeted by a friendly female server.  We then decided to have a tasting of sweet wines.

During our tastings, we gathered some informative information about the wine and winery itself.  The wine was delicious and you will love it!!  After enjoying our tasting, we explored through the Gift Shop for a short amount of time before deciding to go to our last winery.

A Friendly Female Server And Excellent Wine

Upon arriving at the Flag Hill Winery and Vineyard, we were able to park in a spacious parking area.  We walked into the winery.  Here, we were immediately greeted by a female server.

Flag Hill offers wine tastings along with Spirit and Liqueur tastings.  We decided to have a sweet wine tasting and liqueur tasting.  The tastings were delicious!!

During our tasting, we had great friendly conversation with our server.  During our conversation, she informed us about the winery and the sleigh rides.  You can enjoy your sleigh rides at the Coppal House Farm.

We enjoyed their delicious cranberry-apple wine so much that we decided to purchase a bottle.  The overall Flag Hill tasting experience was excellent.

We know you will enjoy the three New Hampshire Wineries!  Nancy and I truly had an excellent experience at each winery.  We would highly recommend these three wonderful New Hampshire wineries to all wine lovers.

Nancy and I will continue to keep you updated on our future winery experiences.  The both of us love visiting amazing wineries! Maybe after visiting one of these 3 New Hampshire Wineries, you will too!!
